Background and Education:

Jay is from Spring, Texas, a suburb just north of Houston. She graduated from Wartburg College in 1982 after successfully completing a year of study at the University of Montpellier in Montpellier, France.  She received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of law in 1989.  Subsequent to graduation, Jay was an associate with the firm of McClanahan & Clearman, LLP and Waltman & Grisham, LLP prior to going into private practice.  Jay has been providing litigation support to The Nunley Firm, PLLC since the late 1990s.

Jay is married to Ken and has two sons.  She is actively involved in supporting our deployed military currently serving in hostile environments throughout the world.  She enjoys genealogy research, fishing, quilting and spending quality time with her family.
